Melon, Eden's Gem (organic)

(aka Eden Gem, Rocky Ford Eden Gem) Early maturing variety developed in 1905 at Rocky Ford, Colorado as a “crate melon.” Amy Goldman, author of Melons for the Passionate Grower, claims this is one of her all-time favorites and “may cause drooling.” Softball-sized netted fruits weigh in at about 1 pound.
