Heritage Breeds &
Heirloom Seeds...
Preserving Treasures
of the Past
Our grand adventure began early in 2020 as we left our jobs and backyard homestead in Alaska to establish our farmstead here in Potlatch, Idaho, something we had been working towards for the past ten years! We spent the summer building up a large market garden, fixing fences, learning to process our hay, and raising a flock of heritage breed laying chickens. Recently we have added a few registered Dexter cows for meat, milk and breeding stock. We continue to make our handmade soaps, lotion bars and lip balms, which are available in our online store.
Beginning in 2021, we will have fresh garden produce for sale to our local area. Look forward to varieties of lettuce, crisp radishes, green onions, green peas, sweet carrots, and juicy tomatoes as the season progresses. Let us know if there is something you would like to see us grow!
Our flock of heritage breed chickens have begun to lay eggs in a range of beautiful colors...white, cream, tan, speckled brown, light blue, and dark brown.
We feed our flock organic feed that is soy-free and corn-free, supplementing with kitchen and garden scraps. Get on our list now if you are interested in becoming a customer.
